Four years ago I decided to become a REALTOR®.  “It was a huge “leap of faith” for me, as my husband had just passed away unexpectedly.  I believed a career change was needed and God has richly blessed my decision.  I have won awards, based on my personal sales, every year at the state level.  In 2006, which was my first full year as one of the Brazil Indiana real estate agents, I was awarded “Rookie of the Year” for the whole state of Indiana.  This was a surprise to me, as I was competing with real estate agents from all of the large cities in the state. 

I work FULLTIME as a REALTOR® at Hoosier Homes & Land and I love it!  Selling Brazil Indiana real estate cannot be a part time job if you want to be successful; I have been successful in bringing many buyers and sellers together. Since I received my real estate license in July 2005, I have had almost 200 closings and my goal is to surpass 200 this year.

As a born and raised Clay County resident, I have the good fortune of knowing many people.  Almost all of my clients are folks referred to me by my acquaintances or past clients.  I have met some wonderful people and more importantly, have made many new friendships that will last a lifetime.  I love it when I see children of clients in the grocery store and they run up and give me a hug.  It makes my long hours and hard work worthwhile.

I spent 17 years in Customer Service at Cinergy and 7 years as a church administrator.  I feel my 24 years of serving others definitely contributes a great deal to my success as a REALTOR®.  The greatest compliment I can receive is when someone I have worked with refers me to a friend or family member.  Living out Proverbs 22:11 is truly Important to me!
